About the Role

Port53 has an immediate opportunity for a strong Cisco PreSales Engineer / Solution Architect with collaboration, enterprise networking, and security skills. We are seeking proven professionals who can work with our account team to develop and close opportunities and drive revenue. This is a remote role, but must be based in the U.S. Responsibilities and abilities include:

    • Align the business needs of customers and prospects to a technical solution, and present the solution to the customer in terms of business benefit
    • Provide technical support and consultation to account executives and clients, using your experience and knowledge of cyber security
    • Conduct presentations to customers to increase customer understanding of the business benefits of our solutions
    • Demo Cisco Security Solutions to customers and assist getting pilots deployed and functional
    • Provide general IT and security support to our customers as needed to get deals signed
    • Assist customers with implementation of our solutions post-sale
    • Design solutions for customers and document the scope of projects, detailing the work to be done and outlining both Port53 and customer responsibilities
    • Develop accurate bill of materials and pricing documents to meet the requirements of the project scope.
    • Deliver professional services engagements as required
    • Assist account executives in presenting technology updates to our existing base customers
    • Develop supporting documentation including network and configuration diagrams, procedures, FAQ, etc.


You Should Have

    • 2+ years of experience in supporting Cisco Security solutions
    • Proven presentation and sales skills and a professional approach and appearance
    • Excellent writing skills and documentation development ability
    • Cisco Security experience in several of the following:

      – Cisco SecureX

      – Cisco Umbrella

      – Cisco Secure Endpoint

      – Cisco Duo

      – Cisco Firepower

      – Cisco Stealthwatch

      – Cisco Meraki

    • Preferred skills:
    • A Cisco CCNP Security or higher certification
    • Knowledge of infrastructure required to implement security solutions

What We Offer 

    • Competitive Pay: $90,000 -$100,00 base salary with quarterly bonuses of up to an extra 25k/quarter
